OUR FOSTERER PROGRAM IS HIGHLY REWARDING BUT NOT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE

The role of our

Fosterer Team

Your role as a puppy foster is absolutely essential in shaping the amazing family protection dogs of tomorrow! Your involvement is not only invaluable, but it is also deeply appreciated by everyone on our team.

We’ll carefully pair you with puppies that suit your lifestyle, experience, and preferences, ensuring a perfect match that will bring joy to your home! These adorable little pups will join your family when they’re around 8 to 12 weeks old and will stay with you up until they’re about 6 to 12 months old, giving you plenty of time to bond and nurture them.

Becoming a puppy foster is a rewarding commitment that impacts your whole family in the best way possible. Don’t worry—you won’t be navigating this adventure alone! We’re here to support you every step of the way with training, advice, and regular check-ins. While fostering is a year-round commitment, we encourage you to take breaks and enjoy holidays, so it’s a flexible journey!

During their time with you, it’s important to expose the puppies to diverse experiences, people, and environments. This helps them build confidence and prepares them to thrive as protection dogs. Think of fun outings to train stations, different types of flooring, and even the excitement of stairs! Plus, encouraging play with toys and interaction with people is a fantastic way to foster their social development.

Our ultimate goal is to help them grow into well-rounded, confident dogs with a playful spirit. While fostering certainly comes with its challenges, the rewards are truly priceless. There’s nothing quite like watching a happy, self-assured young dog blossom thanks to your love and care!
